Responsibilities:

  • Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to client companies and private equity investors
  • Manage and coordinate approach of client, KPMG's engagement teams, and third party diligence providers throughout the transaction process
  • Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks, which impact valuation and negotiation of the target company
  • Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, and indebtedness considerations

To succeed in this demanding role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of five years applicable work experience including an experience in one of the following with a Big 4 or other accounting/advisory professional firm is preferred: transaction experience, M&A advisory, financial audit
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and licensed ACCA or CPA certification is mandatory
  • Extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients, and/or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Experience of financial due diligence is highly regarded, though we would consider candidates with experience of managing advisory or transaction related engagement or with other skills and the aptitude to learn
  • Strong current knowledge in the following: financial reporting issues, International Financial Reporting Standards, mergers and acquisitions process knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability of interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
  • Strong personal impact
  • Ability to perform consistently at a high level under pressure
  • IT skills – strong excel, PowerPoint and word skills desired
  • Willingness and ability to travel
