Job purpose and key deliverables.

You are intended to act as a partner to support finance function in 3 countries (UA, KZ and UZ). You will need to oversees all controlling and accounting departmental activities and ensures that managers execute their duties efficiently. In this position, You will works to avail a favorable departmental climate by adopting communication and integration processes, excellent interpersonal relations as well as ensures that all members of the control and accounting department have clearly defined roles and accountabilities. Foster a team environment, demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive culture.

Reporting (Month, half — year and year)

  • Running and coordinating the process of month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation for business unit
  • To ensure that all procedure and controls are in a place and properly performed
  • Lead the reporting month and year close process for multiple entities (P&L, BS, CF, RFR)
  • Coordination of the communication between departments locally as well as between local teams and headquarter
  • To coordinate cost allocation and IC reconciliation between entities and countries
  • To ensure timely reply on ad hoc report
  • Ensure consistent approach and application of GL accounts, CC, PC in our countries
  • Provide consistent application of IFRS standards, accounting rules within the region
  • To coordinate timeline and availability of resources to perform regular group audits

Budgeting and forecasting

  • Running the process and budgeting and forecasting within finance department
  • Design and implementation of budget control mechanisms within finance department
  • Managing operational data and ensuring data integrity and accuracy for reporting and budgeting process
  • Providing effective financial support and identifying any key risks

Tax compliance and controls

  • Run internal and external tax audits for 3 countries
  • Recommend and implement efficient tax reports review and preparation processes
  • To work with external consultants, incl. Big4 in order to find our the best option tax issues
  • To review agreements and commercial deal according to internal approval matrix

We will provide you opportunity to work with wide range of financial programs and tools, such as Cognos, Coupa, 1C and SAP. To be a part of a team for business process design, SAP implementation and other system’s integration.

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Knowledge of English at advanced level
  • University degree with focus on Finance / Economics / Accounting;
  • Ability to work, communicate and deliver at a high-quality standard
  • Result oriented and hard working
  • Not less than 8 years of experience in finance, incl. not less than 2 years in similar position (in a role of finance manager, head of budgeting and reporting department);
  • Experience in international companies or in big4 is a must;
  • In depth knowledge and experience in accounting and reporting standards, audit, risk and compliance
  • Experience in successful running of external and internal audits
  • High level of self-organization
  • Good communicator and negotiator
  • Flexibility
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, 1C Accounting 8.2. SAP, Power point and building presentations
