Responsibilities:

  • Act as key Regulatory resource for the Russian & CIS Juice category
  • Provide General Regulatory Support for Juice business. Areas of expertise include all Regulatory requirements relating to Product and Packaging Design and Labelling. Core subjects include Food Safety legislation, Mandatory Product Labeling including Nutrition information and Product Claims, Packaging, Technical Regulation and Standardization, Conformity Assessment, SPS and Veterinary Measures, other, if appropriate
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance of Juice business and provide Regulatory support for Innovation/NPD:
  • Ensuring legal Product and Packaging design and legal Labeling of products with substantiated claims
  • Ability to import and distribute products and avoidance of Regulatory and Logistics (Customs) issues
  • Customer support by means of Prediction, Prevention and Follow-up of any Product Regulatory troubles with products in distribution network
  • Maintenance of Company freedom to Innovate in the existing Regulatory environment and Regulatory Navigation with Optimal course
  • Represent PepsiCo in scientific and regulatory committees of food industry associations
  • Track and manage existing and emerging food regulatory issues:
  • Keep the business aware of developments
  • Assess potential impacts
  • Develop positions and responses to regulatory proposals, ensuring internal alignment

Requirements:

  • Higher education: Bachelor degree (Master degree is desirable) in Food Technology, Nutrition or Life Sciences ideally with specialization in Metrology, Standardization and Certification, Public Affairs, Legal
  • Russian as the native language – Fluent English required
  • At least 5-years experience in Regulatory affairs, preferably in a FMCG Company
  • Detailed knowledge of local regulatory requirements and experience in interpreting and applying them
  • Good time-management and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills, attention to details, ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • A passion for delivering operational excellence to the business and other functional customers
  • Results oriented, proactive self-starter, able to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills, good influencing skills. Ability to gain alignment cross-functionally and leverage resources to achieve results
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with the internal and the external interfaces (partners, authority, suppliers)
