GlobalLogic is looking for Software Developer to work in Lviv office. The customer is 3TERA, Inc.

3Tera's AppLogic grid operating system is the first commercial platform designed specifically to enable true utility computing. The operating system converts hosted commodity servers into scalable grids on which users can visually operate, deploy and scale transactional Web applications without any modification of code. The project's goal is development of various virtual appliances, based on Linux and Windows host operation systems, designed to run in AppLogic environment.

Required skills:

• C and object oriented programming skills (Minimum 2 years experience),
• debugging skills,
• documentation skills,
• general networking knowledge (IP, TCP, HTTP, routing, etc),
• LINUX experience: scripting in BASH or PERL,
• LINUX kernel knowledge and development a plus,
• LINUX Kernel development a plus,
• NBD, mdadm a plus,
• Virtualization experience (Xen, VMWare, MS Virtual Server, QEMU, UML) a plus.
• good written and spoken English
