GlobalLogic is looking for Appliance Developer to work in Lviv office. The customer is 3TERA, Inc.

3Tera's AppLogic (www.3tera.com) grid operating system is the first commercial platform designed specifically to enable true utility computing. The operating system converts hosted commodity servers into scalable grids on which users can visually operate, deploy and scale transactional Web applications without any modification of code. The project's goal is development of various virtual appliances, based on Linux and Windows host operation systems, designed to run in AppLogic environment.

Required skills:

•  Strong knowledge of Linux (CentOS, Fedora, Debian, etc.)
•  Scripting in Linux in at sh, bash, PERL a plus
• Knowledge of various open source products: Apache, JBOSS, TOMCAT, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Strong networking background
• Strong documentation skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Windows Expertise

Desired skills:

• Solaris expertise (Solaris, SunOS, OpenSolaris)
