Lead Marketing Manager & MM Health &Wellness/ New Business Development
OBJECTIVE AND CONTEXT OF THE JOB
- Functional leader of marketing team and member of the Management Team
- Overall responsibility for assigned product category market performance.
- Responsible for local marketing plan, activities and product introductions.
- Represent the respective Business Unit within the country.
- Responsible for A&P budget, financial results, planning, stock management, portfolio and pricing.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Represent marketing function in management team
- Be sparring partner for sales manager and other functions
- Responsible for marketing excellence and competencies
- Alignment of marketing plans and activities
- Coordinating of cross category activities and budget
- Responsible for new business development (online, L&I, pharmacy/ drugstore)
- Accountable for the 4P’s of the marketing plan in the country and Market Introduction Process
- Define, create, execute local advertising & promotions in cooperation with trade marketing and sales
- Financial forecasting (Annual Operating Plan/Rolling Forecast) and progress review with focus integral margin, PPWF and prices based on Sub Cluster strategy
- Review the business against (marketing) objectives, seeks, define and implement corrective actions in cooperation with sub-cluster marketing
- Acts as a link between sales team and sub-cluster marketing community, deploys efficient product info and trainig
- Support other key functions and work with Sales team in achieving the business objectives / focus on sales
- Formulate feedback to Sub-cluster marketing team on future business requirements based on shopper, retail and competitor insights
- Supports quantitative, weighted and qualitative presence in KA/channels
- Manage local x-BU activities
- Initiate and manage local partnerships (where applicable)
- Fulfill other tasks and duties on ad-hoc basis if required
MAIN REQUIREMENTS TO A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Min 5 years of experience in Marketing & Sales area
- University level with Business / Strategic Marketing direction
- Preferable background in FMCG or ERT retail, sales experience
- Excellent marketing skills and experience
- Strong leadership competencies
- Excellent negotiation & communication skills
- Entrepreneurial drive for growth
- Ability to manage problem solving
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
