Due to our business expansion and volume growth we are looking for talented professionals to join the team at our Development and Support Center in Kiev, Ukraine.

Job description:

• Provide the required daily support, maintenance, and management of the Windows platform, servers and desktops
• Perform daily network administration to maintain network stability and monitor performance
• Provide general desktop and laptop hardware and software support to the developers in Kiev office
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues
• Keep track of servers, PCs & PC peripherals inventory, specifications, warranty period, and PC data sheets
• Manage software licenses
• Windows Server 2008 & Microsoft SQL 2008 Installation, administration and maintainance
• Manage enterprise applications, virtual machinesgement, virus and malware protection, etc
• Develop and maintain high standards in establishing procedures and policies to address routine jobs

Required Skills and Competencies:

Key to the position:

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• In-depth Knowledge of VMware architecture
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows Server 2008, MS SQL Server 2008, IIS 7.0/7.5 Technical qualifications
• 3+ years of managing a Windows Server environment
• Hands on management of an Active Directory infrastructure, authentication and authorization, general systems security, permission's and operating environment stability
• Proficiency in MS SQL 2008 administration and maintenance
• VBS\PowerShell scripting
• Good command of English
• Understanding of High Availability, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery concepts
• LINUX/UNIX  skills are highly desired

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work independently and without constant supervision
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
