GlobalLogic in partnership with Texas Instruments is looking for Linux kernel/system developer to participate in projects related to:

• Support Open Source Software for OMAP platform
• Development of components Linux kernel, Media libraries, Gstreamer, X11 systems, distributives MeeGo and Chrome OS

Responsibilities:

• Projecting, developing and support Open Source Software
• Work with Open Source Communities (Linux, GTK/Gnome. X11, etc.)
• Developing and porting of drivers and systems software, libraries and daemons for TI OMAP platform
• Business trips to Israel, France, USA, Taiwan
• Work with HW vendors

Required skills:

• Deep knowledge Linux kernel + C (5 year experience) or Knowledge Linux user space + C++(5 year experience)
• Experience with GCC
• Experience in one of the spheres in drivers developing and/or system’s libraries: networking, audio, video
• Experience in Embedded

Desired skills:

• Experience in Open Source Communities (will be an advantage)
• Deep knowledge in one of the: Gstreamer, GTK/Gnome, X11, OMAP, kernel 3, MeeGoo, Chrome (will be an advantage)
