Generals Skills:

• Understanding Multi tenancy challenges and solutions to solve
• Understanding SOA (ESB, BPM, Web Services)
• Understanding Cloud Computing (Google, Amazon, Azure, etc.)
• Understanding Scalability & Availability Solutions
• J2EE, Web frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, JSF, etc.)
• Application Frameworks (Spring, OSGi, etc.)
• Persistence (Hibernate, JPA)
• Design skills, GoF, Integration patterns, experience with n-tiers Architectures
• Application Servers (JBoss, etc.)
• Practice  with XML, XPATH, XSLT
• Web Services (WSDL , SOAP and REST, JAX-WS, WS security)
• Experience with WS Tools that are used in Java (Axis, CXF, etc.)
• RIA (Web 2.0, ExtJS/Dojo/YahooUI, JSF/JSP/Servlets, AJAX, Flex/BlazeDS, etc.)

Advisable Skills:

• Data Recovery, Replication and Backup Solutions
• Tools for testing and monitoring SaaS applications
