GlobalLogic Ukraine is looking for Java Web Applications Developer to work on the full time basis in our Lviv office.
Required skills:      

•  Understanding of and minimum 2 years experience of developing data- and content-driven web applications in Java
•  Knowledge of Java web development technologies including Servlets/JSPs, JPA, JMS, JTA, web services
•  Experience with frameworks such as Struts 2, Spring, Hibernate
•  Strong understanding of XML and XML parsers
•  Ability to interpret XML schema
•  Experience with deploying web applications in Java application servers (such as Glassfish)
•  Experience with application design for scalable and robust commercial web services
•  Excellent proactive problem solving abilities
•  Ability to work in an AGILE software development environment, maintaining focus yet remaining flexible to requirements and design changes
•  Professional attitude to customer engagements
•  Good interpersonal, written and verbal English-language communication skills

Job Responsibilities:     

• Effectively execute project tasks and phases assigned by Project Manager, including any of the following: task management, status reporting, documentation, rapid software prototyping, software implementation, software development, testing and problem reporting
• Participate in Project Planning and Documentation
• Responsible for rapid code prototyping, development, integration and testing
• Help achieve customer satisfaction through on-time and on-budget completion of projects
• Maintain daily communication with Project Manager
• Provide designs and guidance for other developers engaged on customer projects.
